Nice to meet you, I’m Kuroari.
Welcome to “Kuroari’s Every Day is a Beautiful Day.”(“Nichi Nichi Kore Kōjitsu”)
“Nichi Nichi Kore Kōjitsu”(literally “Every day is a beautiful day”)is a Zen concept teaching the importance of letting go of subjective judgments of good or bad, and living each day to the fullest. It reflects an attitude that no matter how difficult things may be, we can transform any day into a “good day” through our own mindset.
I don’t have any special skills, a fancy educational background, or extraordinary life experiences. I just happen to enjoy working a little more than the average person, and no matter what environment I find myself in, I end up working non-stop. Working isn’t a chore for me at all—in fact, I find it quite interesting… Yes, I am a true “shachiku (corporate slave)” at heart! (haha)
Even though I don’t necessarily have deep loyalty to my company, before I knew it, I was living a completely workaholic life, deeply immersed in a “Toxic workplace” environment.
This blog is written for people like you who
- Feel completely exhausted from work every single day.
- Are doing everything you can just to keep up with your current work environment.
- Lack confidence in yourselves, but are still pushing forward step by step.
By sharing my experiences in a “Toxic workplace” , my relaxed daily routine, and my occasional escapes from reality, I hope this blog brings you a little comfort or at least a good chuckle!

🐜 The Origin of the Name “Kuroari”
I love wearing black clothes and wear them often. One day at work, when I was dressed all in black from head to toe, a coworker said to me, “You’re always bustling around working so hard, just like a worker ant! (haha)” That’s how the name stuck. (Note: “Kuroari” literally means “black ant” in Japanese.)
Why I Started “Kuroari’s Every Day is a Beautiful Day”
As a workaholic through and through, work was always my top priority, no matter what.
Since getting married to “Shiro-san” (my husband) six years ago, I’ve gradually begun to realize how crazy my “corporate slave mindset” actually is… but habits formed over many years aren’t so easy to break.
“I want to value the balance between myself, my work, and my life with my partner more.”
That realization was the catalyst for starting this blog.
I want to use this space to keep daily logs, reflect, and organize my thoughts.
And if my experiences can serve as hints or insights on working style for others fighting in toxic environments, or simply offer a funny story for fellow office workers, then all my pitch-black past experiences will finally feel like they were worth something.
What I’ll Be Sharing on This Blog

For fellow warriors in similar environments and those looking to rethink their work styles, I hope to offer empathy, relief, and a moment to breathe—so you know you’re not alone and can think, “If this person is doing fine, I’ll be okay too.”
Kuroari’s Daily Life
This blog documents our relaxed gluten-free lifestyle, which began after my husband’s allergies were discovered, as well as little tips for living together as a couple, and my hobby of handicrafts—all in an unpretentious way.
Kuroari’s Escapes from Reality (Travel & Outings)
Working at a toxic workplace means I naturally have very few days off per year.
Those holidays are precious! (haha) Occasionally, I go on trips with my husband or visit nice cafes.
These are the records of my valuable “escapes from reality” away from a work-dominated life.
I hope you can feel like you’re joining us on these outings and perhaps find them helpful for your own trips.
